Can the floor be restored without removing existing cladding?

Microcement is ideal both for making new floors and for renovating existing surfaces. A special feature is its possibility of use on old wooden, ceramic and concrete floors without the need to remove existing material.

Can microcement be applied to tiles or parquet?

After careful assessment of the base and with proper preparation, microcement can be applied to any type of surface. Our staff will advise you on the feasibility of the project and will help you choose the most suitable solution for your needs.

Can I apply microcement without removing existing doors or windows?

Only 3-4 mm thick, with microcement you can have a new floor without the need to remove or replace existing doors and windows in the house (unless the doors and windows are perfectly aligned with the floor).

Is it possible to obtain a continuous surface without joints?

Microcement was created to meet the needs of those who don’t like compounds. Applicable both vertically and horizontally, it gives maximum continuity to all surfaces.

Can microcement be applied in the shower?

Of course. Microcement is suitable for these types of surfaces because it provides excellent protection against water penetration. In addition to exceptional waterproof properties, microcement also provides a number of others, such as anti-slip surfaces and resistance to chemicals.

Can I change the color of the microcement surface?

That. Simply sand the surface and reapply the microcement. This option is especially useful for leased business premises where the tenant will very easily change color depending on the purpose.

I have underfloor heating, can I use microcement as a substrate?

Yes, thanks to its high heat resistance, underfloor heating has no effect on microcement.

Can a kitchen work surface be made of microcement?

Yes, it can be used on any type of surface as long as it is properly processed. However, exposure to a constant heat source is not recommended, special microcements tolerate high temperatures but still, as a precaution, it is always advisable not to expose it to constant high temperatures even though the product can withstand more than 200º temperature.

Would you use microcement for fireplace mantel, is it heat resistant?

Depending on the exact place of application of microcement and adequate preparation, it can be used as a lining for the fireplace.

Can microcement be used on heavily loaded surfaces, such as garages?

Yes. Microcement has a high resistance to wear, and is also recommended for the construction of access roads, parking lots and garages. In these cases, only the microcement version of the primer is applied, which provides anti-slip properties.
